National Testing Agency (NTA) is the conducting body of CUET 2022. CUET 2022 is a centralized exam for admission to various central universities across India. The CUET exam has been scheduled to take place in two phases. The first phase of the exam has been concluded successfully. The second phase of the CUET exam was scheduled from 4 August 2022 to 10 August 2022. But due to the cancellation of the exam, NTA will hold the CUET exam between 24 August 2022 and 28 August 2022. The NTA will issue new admit cards to the candidates. Therefore the CUET exam in the second shift witnessed cancellation and got extended.

CUET Syllabus 2022
The CUET exam is divided into 3 parts, i.e. language test, domain test, and general test. Therefore the syllabus has been laid out according to the sections in the exam.
Language Test: This section of the CUET 2022 exam assesses the candidates’ linguistic skills. The candidates must choose the language that will be evaluated through a language test. One language from IA and one from IB are to be selected. The two sections include the following languages.

English; Hindi; Telugu; Kannada; Malayalam; Tamil; Marathi; Urdu; Odiya; Assamese; Punjabi; Bengali; Gujarati.

Domain Test: CUET 2022 will also assess candidates’ knowledge about the subjects they have studied in their 12th grade. The domain test assesses the specific understanding of the candidates. The candidates are to choose domain subjects according to what they have learned in their 12 and what course they wish to apply. Suppose you want to pursue a BSc. Physics, then you must opt for Physics. The subjects available for choice for the domain test are:

General Test: Apart from language and subject tests, the candidates’ general knowledge will be an essential part of the assessment for admission through CUET 2022. The candidates must focus on the following areas to prepare for the general test:
General Knowledge; Current affairs; General Mental Ability; Numerical Abilities; Quantitative reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic/algebra/geometry/mensuration/ statistics taught till 8th Grade); Logical and Analytical Reasoning.
